Details:
Base: Buckshead Farm, Cranham - what3 words ///gilding.basket.rejoined
Date: June 6-7th
You can ride 2 days or just 1, or not at all, just chill. It’s up to you.
Cost: £12 per night to be paid to campsite. Note - You can stay as many nights as you wish.
Food: Not supplied so feel free to bring your own.
Fascilities: 3 Onsite toilets plus wash basic sink area.
The Rides:
The area is not flat, so expect hills, the pace of the rides will take into account who’s riding. If we have a lot of riders, we can split into 2 rides per day to offer a slower, or faster ride. Please don’t think this is going to be a race. Its all about fun, we have 2 days.
Bikes:
Your Fatbike should have 26” or 27.5 wheel’s. Built for proper offroad riding.
Kit:
All riders must wear a proper cycle helmet and please bring your own tool kit, pump and inner tube if youre not tubeless
Fatfest started out as FatFod due it being based in the Forest of Dean.
Now, 6 years on, it’s become FatFest as we’ve moved further afield.
As you will see in the video, things are very relaxed, and basically a big social get together, where we can discuss tyre widths and other strange topics, oh and occasionally pop out for a ride.
