Hi, I'm Graham Foot, the founder, rider, and tester behind Smokestone Bikes—a small, bespoke, bicycle brand nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, UK.

Smokestone was born from my passion for designing bikes built for real-world bikepacking, adventure and off-road exploration, whether they’re short spins or epic journeys that last a lifetime.

Owning the perfect bike is something special, and I’m here to help turn that dream into reality.

Where do you start?

Do you want one of our frames? Or your own design?

To get things going the first thing is to discuss what you are looking for, the type of riding you like to do, any special features you would like and of course the sizing.

As mentioned you can choose something from our range or we can design something bespoke to you.

Regarding sizing, if you have a current bike you are happy with we can use that as a starting point, but we like to get some basic measurements also. This can be done face to face, via email or video chat.

Once we have your frame details sorted, your order is placed.

A 50% payment is required at the point of placing your order, with the balance on delivery.

Smokestone is offering Pinion

As of May 1st 2025, the BowTi will now be available with a Pinion Gearbox.

Pinion Smart.Shift combines the reliable and nearly maintenance-free Pinion Gearbox technology with up to 12 gears and the advantages of an electric shifting system. Shifting is done at the push of a button – fast, ergonomic, and intuitive. The system shifts while riding, at a standstill, and better than ever before!
