Smokestone is offering Pinion
As of 2026, the Bow Ti will be available with a Pinion Gearbox or traditional drivetrain. If you choose Pinion you can also have it with the new Smart Shift, or manual shift.
Pinion Smart.Shift combines the reliable and nearly maintenance-free Pinion Gearbox technology with up to 12 gears and the advantages of an electric shifting system. Shifting is done at the push of a button – fast, ergonomic, and intuitive. The system shifts while riding, at a standstill, and better than ever before!
Should you wish to stick to non electric, then yes you can still have the twist grip shifter.

Every Smokestone frame is built to order. Begin by contacting Graham Foot to discuss custom geometry, feature adjustments, mounting options, and whether you'd like a Pinion gearbox.

Your personalised design is confirmed via email. Ordering a complete BowTi bike can also be arranged this way.

A 50% deposit is needed when placing your order, with the remaining balance due upon arrival.

Frames are typically completed within 6–8 weeks, depending on the season.
